Operation FAQ
Where does the Heat Reflection Plate go?
The Heat Reflection Plate is the large arched metal piece that reflects the heat and circulates the heat in the oven. To insert, you must slide it into the inner back of the oven, BEHIND the heating coils. It will catch in place and hold. To remove, simply pull on the top edge and slide out again.
How do I assemble the Spit Rod and Spit Wheels?
There are two Spit Wheels; the End Wheel is where the blunt end of the spit rod is inserted. The other Top Wheel is placed over the pointed end of the spit rod. Always place one prong down first, then pierce the food securely. Tighten the securing screw and place other end onto food to secure tightly. Make sure to clean this area occasionally to keep foods from collecting and jamming in this area.
Is there suppose to be a one inch gap between the door and the oven towards the bottom of the unit?
Yes, this gap is supposed to be present. It allows air into the oven to circulate the heat within. If this gap is not present, the heat within the oven may increase to higher levels. This gap will also not harm your table or counter top during cooking operation.
What do I do if I turn the oven on and there is no heat or rotation?
Make sure the unit is plugged into a working outlet. Set the Timer to specified time. Make sure the switch is set on Normal Rotation. If all this is done and there is still no heat or rotation, the unit is defective. Turn off Timer and unplug the unit. Follow the instructions on how to send defective item back to manufacturer.
How do I insert the Kebob Rods?
First assemble the Spit Wheels and Spit Rod WITHOUT the prongs and place into the oven.
Each Kebob rod has a Spindle Wheel with a Snap Point on one end and flat end on the other.
Skewer desired food onto the kebob rods.
Insert Flat end of kebob into the holes provided in the Wheel on the Left side of the oven. Then click the Snap Point into the holes in the Wheel on the Right side of the oven. They will snap into place securely.
Once completed, turn oven ON. When rotation cycle starts, each Spindle Wheel on Kebob rods will catch on a small piping pole inside the oven creating a gear action. This will cause the Kebobs to also rotate during cooking cycle.
How do I insert a basket onto the rotisserie Spit?
Please note that only one basket can be used at one time.
To load the basket, secure the two square brackets onto the sides of the baskets length wise. Slide the square brackets over the spit rod and making sure it rests securely and does not move around. Place whole assembly into oven.
What do I do if the Rotisserie Spit falls down during rotation?
Make sure the Spit Rod is inserted all the way into the Wheels and secured. Make sure the wheel is resting its groove on the Metal Ear piece on the left side of the oven. If Rotisserie Spit still falls during rotation, try setting rotation to only turn clockwise (away from you). If all this does not work, the oven is defective. Follow the instructions on how to send defective item back to manufacturer.

Cooking FAQ
How long do I cook chicken, roasts, or fish for?
Cook chicken 12-15 minutes per pound. When inserting more than one chicken into the oven, make sure that sides of chicken is not touching. Leave a one-inch gap between chickens if possible. This is only recommended and not necessary.
Cook pot roasts, pork roasts or roast beef for 10-15 minutes per pound. These items depend on how you would like your meat. Rare, medium rare or well done. Cooking time will range between 10-15 minutes.
Cook fish 15 minutes per pound. Insert fish into desired size of grilling basket for best results.
Can I make gravy from the drippings in the drip tray?
No, this is not recommended. Gravy is made from the actual juices that gather in a drip pan when cooking food in a conventional oven. Cooking with the Spin & Roll Rotisserie allows the food to retain all its juices. The drippings gathered at the bottom of the drip tray are fat and grease that has dripped off of the food during cooking. Using that to make gravy is very unhealthy and highly NOT recommended.
Operation FAQ
I am using my oven for the first time. I plug the oven into an electrical socket but nothing is happening. How come my oven is not working?
Always make sure you are using a working outlet. Once the oven is plugged into a working outlet, set the Temperature to the desired setting. Choose a Heat Selector setting. And finally set the Timer. The oven will not come on until the Timer is set. The orange indicator light will light up and the heating elements will begin to glow.
How come the top heating elements are glowing more bright than the bottom heating elements?
This is normal. It does not mean your oven is defective. The reason the Top Elements appear to be to stronger is because they are also used for heating the oven-top grill & griddle.
How do I use the rotisserie feature?
Assemble the spit rod with the rotisserie forks. Place into the oven. Plug the oven in, set the Timer, and turn the Rotisserie Switch located at the bottom of the control panel to ON. The oven’s indicator light should turn on and the rotisserie should start rotating. If the oven still does not rotate, try switching the Rotisserie Switch to the other side. If still no rotation, the oven is defective. Please follow the instructions on how to return a item.
Is it okay to use foil inside the oven?
Yes, it is perfectly safe to use foil inside the oven.
Is it okay to use Pyrex Glass materials in the oven?
Yes, as long as the glass is oven-safe and heat resistant, it is perfectly safe to use inside the oven.
- Portable Ice Maker – Model MIM-15; MIM-88; MIM-88X
Operation FAQ
The ice machine has a plastic smell and the ice tastes like plastic. What is causing this? How can it be eliminated?
Most appliances will have some residue left over from the manufacturing process. This is why it is always recommended that you clean newly purchased appliances, large or small, before use.
The smell will go away after the unit has been used for a while.
Tips:
You can use 1-2 cups of lemon juice OR 1-2 cups of vinegar added to a gallon of water and cycle this through the unit several times and this should eliminate any plastic taste.
The machine keeps lighting up to ADD MORE WATER. But there is water in the tank. Why is this happening?
Make sure to fill the water up to the top of the ledge where the ice basket is resting. Make sure water does not over-flow into the ice basket. Typically this means there is not enough water for the sensor to read there is enough water in the unit as it is very sensitive.
Tip:
You can also try to leave the ice basket inside the machine, but keep pouring in water slowly until the RED light blinks and the machine starts to function. Again, make sure not to over flow the water into the ice basket.
Where do I fill the water in the ice machine?
1-gallon of water can be filled simply by pouring the water into the tank beneath the ice basket. Fill up to the top edge.
Can this machine keep ice frozen?
The portable ice maker is not a freezer so ice will not stay frozen. The ice will begin melting after a few hours if you do not store it in your freezer. The length of time for the ice to melt completely will depend on the ambient temperature of where you have placed the ice maker. The ice maker will recycle the melted ice water and begin making a new batch of cubes.
Tip:
The ice cubes on top of the basket will always be more solid than the ice cubes below. If you wish to keep the ice frozen solid, it is recommended to remove the ice and store away in a regular freezer.
Can this machine be used with a travel converter or electrical inverter?
It is recommended not to use to a converter or an inverter with this appliance.
Can the machine be left plugged in and turned on 24 hours a day?
Yes
Can a water-line be connected with this machine?
No
How can this machine make 35lbs. of ice in one day?
By storing the ice after each batch and adding water will allow you to continuously make ice up to 35lbs a day.
